About Arvin Ardakani

A doctor in training who teaches the way he wishes he'd been taught.

I'm a Doctor of Medicine (MD) candidate and an aspiring psychiatrist. Before medicine, I graduated Summa Cum Laude in Kinesiology & Health Science—and since 2019 I've mentored 350+ students into medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and beyond.

Why I do this

I didn't need more advice. I needed a system.

My path into medicine included the kind of rejection that makes you question everything. On paper I looked ready—strong grades, test scores, years of volunteering—but the outcome didn't follow, and nobody could tell me why. I spent nearly $15,000 on courses and consultants chasing the missing piece.

It turned out the missing piece wasn't information—it was a repeatable system for thinking clearly under pressure. That shift took me into medical school and to the 4th quartile on CASPer four times. Today I give students that system directly, so they don't have to pay in years and dollars the way I did.

“The best framework should help you sound more like yourself—not less.”

Top of the class, then medicine.

I don't just teach these subjects—I earned top marks in them before medical school.

Clinical training

Learning medicine, on both sides of the world.

My coaching is grounded in real clinical practice—the same judgment, communication and ethics that CASPer and medical schools are looking for.

MD Clinical Placement — Northern Health

Rotations across vascular & breast surgery, general & emergency medicine, ENT, cardiology and neurology.

Psychiatry — Adult, Geriatric, Emergency & Forensic

Electives and observerships across hospital and community psychiatry in Ontario, including therapeutic-court forensic work.

Family Medicine — Australia & Toronto

Independent consultations, history-taking, examinations, venipuncture and immunizations under supervision.

Hospital Volunteer — Surgery Unit, Sunnybrook (Toronto)

Six years supporting post-surgical and elderly patients with rehabilitation and recovery.

I've also worked as a research assistant in a developmental neuroscience lab studying autism spectrum disorder, and served in student leadership and peer-health-education roles throughout university. Full CV and official transcript available on request.
